About the tour

Located in the county of Hampshire approximately 25 minutes from Southampton is the Naval City of Portsmouth, home of the Royal Navy. Visiting the historic docks Customers can expect to see the Victory, flagship of Lord Horatio Nelson from the battle of Trafalgar in 1805, HMS Warrior, the first steam powered armoured frigate built by the Royal Navy in 1859 which was the most powerful warship of its time, The Mary Rose, Henry VIII's warship, constructed in 1510, launched in 1511 and in service for 34 years. Rediscovered in 1971 and recovered from the seabed in 1982 and nearing its final stages of conservation. Nearby are the D-Day Museum, Royal Marines Museum and the National Museum of the Royal Navy. Additionally, there are designer shopping facilities in the nearby Gunwharf Quays complex which also houses the Spinnaker Tower. The driver will arrange a drop off and pick up point to return customers to Southampton/Cruise Ship Terminal. The duration of this tour including travelling is approximately 4.5 hours. The cost of this tour is £30.00 per person based on a minimum of 4 persons. Advanced bookings are required if your drop off or collection is outside the times of 8am to 8pm; or your trip extends futher than a 50mile radius of Southampton.
